
WASHINGTON, D.C. — (August 6, 2026) — The District of Columbia Association of REALTORS® (DCAR) today announced the appointment of Leslie J. Frazier, MPA, CAE, RCE, as its next Chief Executive Officer, ushering in a new chapter of strategic growth, innovation, and member-focused leadership.
A nationally recognized association executive, Frazier brings nearly 15 years of leadership experience in association management, government affairs, public policy, and stakeholder engagement. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Community and Industry Relations for Virginia REALTORS®—where she helped lead the state’s largest trade association, representing nearly 33,000 members.
Known for her collaborative leadership style, Frazier has spearheaded statewide strategic initiatives, strengthened partnerships across REALTOR® associations, advanced organizational effectiveness, and built strong relationships with members, volunteer leaders, elected officials, and industry partnerships. Prior to her association career, she served in senior leadership roles in two Virginia gubernatorial administrations, leading public policy and strategic initiatives.

Frazier holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) and REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE) designations, a Master of Public Administration from Virginia Tech, and undergraduate degrees in Government and Spanish from the University of Virginia. She has served in numerous national leadership roles with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and has been honored with ASAE’s NextGen Rising Star Award and NAR’s AE Leaders of Tomorrow Young Professionals Award. As CEO, Frazier will lead DCAR’s strategic vision and operations while working with the Board of Directors, members, and partners to strengthen advocacy, enhance member value, and position the association for continued success.
